The Europe, Projects and Innovation Department is UNESSA’s gateway to Europe. It gives the federation a unique strategic position within various European networks.
Mission
The Europe, Projects & Innovation (EPI) department supports UNESSA’s sectors and affiliates in their engagement with Europe.
Through strategic monitoring, European projects and the development of partnerships, the department transforms European opportunities into concrete drivers of innovation, cooperation and development for stakeholders on the ground.

Why Europe?
European policies and initiatives have a direct influence on the sectors represented by UNESSA. This influence takes the form of funding, regulation, European support for innovation, and the identification of best practice

The service in action
The EPI service supports and develops initiatives at European level across all sectors represented by UNESSA.
Through projects, meetings, mobility schemes, training and the development of tools, the service helps to strengthen practices on the ground and European collaboration.

RISE UP
RISE UP is a European project aimed at promoting the early childhood profession, sharing good practices on inclusion, sustainability and supervision, and developing training modules as well as a skills recognition framework for professionals.
GOLD (Getting OLder with a Disability)
GOLD is a European project aimed at helping professionals better support ageing people with disabilities through good practices, training and practical tools.
GEST'UP
Gest'Up is a European project aimed at improving the employability of vulnerable populations through micro-training focused on professional skills, strengthening collaboration between stakeholders, and facilitating recruitment by companies.
